We all have that one friend – the one who snaffles last-minute flight deals, blags miraculous upgrades and avoids pesky baggage fees by somehow packing a fortnight’s worth of winter clothing into a handbag. Or maybe that person is you. Either way, there’s always more to learn when it comes to honing travel know-how.

Join us on Thursday 18 December as we discuss hacks and tips that will revolutionise the way you travel. The most creative and inspiring tweeter will win £500 to spend with Skyscanner and five runners up will win a copy of Lonely Planet’s Best Ever Travel Tips.

How do I take part?

1. Follow @lonelyplanet and the hashtag #LPChat on Twitter on Thursday 18 December from 4pm GMT/11am EST.

2. Questions will be ordered Q1, Q2, Q3 etc. To answer Q1, begin your tweet with A1. For Q2, A2 and so on.

3. Add #LPChat to all of your tweets during the Twitter chat, so others (including @lonelyplanet) can see what you’re saying.
